Tasman Neighbourhood House is a welcoming community space located in Nubeena, supporting people across the Tasman Peninsula. It provides an extension of services offered through Dunalley Tasman Neighbourhood House and offers a range of programs, supports and activities for individuals and families. 

Family Support and Wellbeing 
A family support and wellbeing worker is available to talk with people about children, parenting, partners and family-related issues.  

Assistance with End-of-Life Paperwork 
Referral-based support is available for end-of-life paperwork.  

Domestic and Family Violence Referrals 
Information, support and referral pathways are available for people experiencing domestic and family violence.  

Visiting Services

NDIS Support via Mission Australia 
Mission Australia visits Bi-Monthly on a Tuesday 10:00am to 1:00pm in Nubeena. Dates for 2026: 2nd June, 4th August, 6th October, 1st December. 

Employment Services 
Employment services are available by appointment. ASSURIA first Wednesday of the month. 

Programs and Activities

Men’s Group 
Fortnightly Thursdays, 6:00pm – 9:00pm at Tasman Neighbourhood House. 

Youth Activities 
Facilitated Youth House activities for young people aged 13–25, every Thursday from 3:00pm – 5:30pm. 

Boys Group 
In partnership with Tasman District School every Thursday. 

Girls Group 
In partnership with Tasman District School each week. 

Tasman Homeschool Network 
Tuesdays from 10:00am at the Taranna Community Hall. Gourlay Street, Taranna.

No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) 
Anyone who is working can apply for a NILS loan if their gross income is $55,000 or less. If you have a pension, DVA or health care card and need assistance with bond, rent in advance, medical or dental expenses, computers, whitegoods, car registration or repairs, support is available to help you complete an application by appointment.

Laundry Services 
Laundry services are available during opening hours or by appointment. Free laundry powder, sanitary items, soaps, nappies and baby wipes are available on request. Free home-made frozen meals are also available as desired.  

Digital and IT Support 
Free IT support and computer access, including Wi-Fi, scanning and printing. Support is available to help people learn more about their devices and how to use them.  

Community Garden 
Community garden space is available.  

Volunteer Coordination 
Volunteer coordination occurs across both Tasman and Dunalley Houses, providing opportunities for community members to become involved in programs and activities, including the Dunalley Op Shop, Food Co-op and other initiatives. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and, for some people over 55, may also support Centrelink mutual obligation requirements.  

Commissioner for Declarations 
A Commissioner for Declarations is available at the Dunalley House, to sign administrative documents requiring an authorised witness, including certifying copies of original documents and witnessing statutory declarations.
