There Are Many Ways To Help
“I like to give a hand and if that helps our community thrive, that feels special. Volunteering is true giving and connects me to others, making life worthwhile.” – Bert
Strong communities are built by people who care.
Tasman Voice for Health welcomes anyone who wants to help create a healthier, more connected Tasman. Whether you wish to contribute for a short time or a long time, have time to volunteer regularly, want to contribute an idea, or simply want to stay informed, there are many ways to get involved.
You don’t need any special qualifications—just an interest in making a positive difference in your community.
Volunteer
Volunteering is the beating heart of Tasman Voice for Health and their Tasman Connect Health Promotion website.
There are many ways to get involved, from joining one of the working groups or helping at community events to sharing your skills, experience or local knowledge. Every contribution—big or small—helps strengthen our community.
Whether you have an hour each month or want to play a bigger role, we’d love to hear from you.
Come To A Meeting
Our volunteer action-focused working groups meet throughout the year to discuss local priorities, share ideas and work together on initiatives and projects that improve health and wellbeing across the Tasman community.
Meetings are friendly, welcoming and open to anyone interested in contributing. Whether you’d like to become a regular volunteer or have a specific task in mind or to learn more, we’d love to meet you.
