Get support to start your own business
Many Rivers provides free coaching to help people start and grow their own small business. We help people who have low or no income to become self-employed.
Most often, the people we work with are either from a low-income household, identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, have an existing business they want to expand or currently rely on Government Income Support. We offer business coaching and financial support so people can open their own business.
Alex Palmer is the southern Tasmanian Microenterprise Development Manager that provides this 1;1 ongoing support. Alex has a wealth of business experience to help guide your business journey. Alex would love to hear from you. Best of all, working with Alex won’t impact your participation in the Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) program.
Their support is ongoing for up to three years. You’ll also gain access to:
- A national network of expert coaches
- Business loans
- Pro bono legal assistance
- Their extensive experience in finance and business
