Check the website for more information about bus stop locations and times

One public transport bus leaves and returns to the Tasman each day. It leaves Nubeena in the morning, travels to Port Arthur and then onto Sorell and Hobart, taking approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes. It returns later in the day by the same route. It collects and drops people at designated stops. Hours of operation differ between weekdays, weekends, school holidays and public holidays. The timetable can be found on the website or on community noticeboards at the various grocery shops around the Peninsula.

Cash can be used to pay for travel but purchase of a Greencard makes bus travelling easier, faster and cheaper. To obtain a Greencard you need to register. This also involves a $5.00 sign up fee. A registration form can be obtained by filling out a form online at https://greencard.metrotas.com.au/signup/details
