A Tasmanian Lifeline is a telephone support service for Tasmanians of all ages who would like someone to talk things through with, or to chat about what is important to them. You may be staying in hospital and like a friendly voice; or have too much going on and like someone to listen; or need to work out what service is best for you. This service is Tasmanian-focused and Tasmanian-based. It offers non-judgmental, one-off or ongoing support for anyone having a tough time.

You can call Tasmania Lifeline on 1800 98 44 34 from 8am to 8pm every day of the year or alternatively book a call back via our online booking form at atasmanianlifeline.com.au – You don’t have to go through a difficult situation alone. If you need to talk to someone overnight from 8pm to 8am, you can call the national Lifeline Australia number on 13 11 14.

Tasmania Lifeline is always looking to train volunteers to help other Tasmanians with their telephone support and connection service. Contact this number for more information or go to their website.
