Free Bushfire Property Assessments for your home are available for all residents on the Tasman through the Koonya Fire Brigade Community Engagement Team on the number provided. This service helps you:

• Identify your best escape routes
• how to prepare you & your home to shelter from bushfire
• how to manage domestic animals during bushfire
• preparing evacuation kits & bushfire plans
• preparing for bushfire recovery
• help you join a Bushfire Phone Tree, if living in a high risk area

Koonya Fire Brigade respond to fire incidents between Newmans Creek, Taranna and Littles Road, Nubeena. All Brigades across the Peninsula respond to building or house fires.
