Tasman District School is the only school situated on the Tasman Peninsula. It caters for approximately 175 students ranging from Kindergarten to Year 12.   Tasman also offers an online and flexible learning program for students remaining in the community to complete their Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) for years 11 & 12.  Full or part time enrolment at other schools for year 11 & 12 is also possible depending on student goals.

The Tasman District School population is derived from various areas from the Tasman Peninsula including: Highcroft, Port Arthur, White Beach, Nubeena, Saltwater River, Premaydena, Koonya, Taranna, Eaglehawk Neck, Murdunna and Dunalley.  Bus services collect and drop students at designated stops during the school term. The school encourages volunteers from the community to assist with classroom activities.  A Working With Vulnerable People card may be required.  Contact the school reception for more information.
