Defibrillators on the Tasman

All emergency police, ambulance, fire and SES vehicles have defibrillators. The locations of registered defibrillators, other than these, can be found at this website: https://maps.thelist.tas.gov.au/listmap/app/list/map?bookmarkId=59843

Other locations that enable 24 hr access include:

  • Tasman Neighbourhood House – 1635 Main Rd, Nubeena, located on the rear wall under the carport
  • Tasman Council Chambers – 1713 Main Rd, Nubeena, At the back of the Council Chambers
  • Sommers Bay Jetty – opposite Paul Court, Sommers Bay – In a box located near track to jetty
  • Murdunna Roadhouse – located on north facing wall of the roadhouse, facing Sommers Bay Rd

To save lives, defibrillators are best obtained and used within 10 minutes. To increase knowledge of the other defibrillators on the Peninsula it would be helpful to register them by calling 1300 979 057 or going to this webpage: https://www.health.tas.gov.au/hospitals/ambulance/contacting-ambulance-tasmania/registering-your-defibrillator.
